This place looks different from school, the school that Mom said I am no longer going to. She was very proud when I was accepted here, where the ‘brightest’ kids go. They eventually do great things - become lawyers, doctors, politicians, make a lot of money. Mom says I will be ‘set up for success’.⁣

This place looks expensive. I can tell from the comfy chairs and the smart-looking uniform. Honestly though, how could Mom be sure I would be happy here? Maybe I should trust her for now, because for now, I don’t know better.⁣
